The catalyst has been characterized using Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM), Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (EDX) and Synchrotron X-ray Powder Diffraction (SXPD). Electrochemical testing suggests it has a comparable activity for HOR as Pt/C and is a good candidate for use on the anode of an AAEM fuel cell.
